Model UN-40 & UN-63 butt-welding machine is used for the butt-welding of low carbon steel or low carbon steel alloy weldments,of which rated cross section ares is 300 sq.mm and maximum cross section area is 400 sq.mm lt is suitable for the butt-welding of the steel material with compacl cross section area.such as rods/bars.steel sections and tools etc.Model UN-40 butt-welding machine consists of the clamping tool,pneumatic/hydraulic drive system,resistance transformer,frame,control cabinet and cooling system etc.
Resistance transformer is of single phase,50Hz,380V,can be steplessly adjusted.lts current isadjusted via SCR lt has good heat dissipation.lt is easy to be adjusted.
Cooling water is brought in via water inlet,and is divided into two ways,one is passing through the secondary winding of the transformer,and the other is to the conducting block under the mouth of welding tongs of the eldctrode.
A separate control cabinet controls working procedure of the welding machine.lts components are integrated circuits.Control function is precision structure is compact;adjusting is convenient.
Operation of the welding machine adopts manually loading,pneumatically clamping Moving clamper adopts hydraulic damper for forward and backward movement.Weiding,process is automatized.After completion of the work pieces with compact cross section area,it can be automatically continuous sparking method.
